I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in trauma/PTSD, anxiety, and couples therapy. I hold certifications in EMDR and Mindfulness-Based practices. I am a military Air Force veteran with combat experience and have also lived the "other side of the coin" as a military spouse.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is rooted in mindfulness and person-centered perspectives. I approach therapy based on the needs of the client in the present moment and this allows the client to be in more control over their outcomes. Every client is different and unique and this approach tailors to those fundamentals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Clients typically state they feel better after one session because someone was able to listen and understand their perspective. I hope clients take away the value of open and honest communication, a better understanding of themselves and their individual/couples needs and feel safe and comfortable in a therapeutic setting moving forward. Everything else is "icing on the cake".
