Getting to know Hiroko Kaise

Hello, My name is Hiroko, and I have been conducting individual and couple therapy for over 15 years. I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from Loyola University Water Tower Campus. With my clients, I have worked on issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, adjustment, and interpersonal and communication problems. I am also culturally sensitive and understand intercultural issues very well.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During the therapy sessions, we will reflect on you, your life and problems you are facing. We will look at not only the symptoms of depression or anxiety but also self-esteem, self-identity, your needs and wants. Knowing and understanding ourselves is the first and ongoing process for feeling better. I understand that my clients seek psychotherapy to change their life and how they feel. I utilize solution focused cognitive behavioral techniques while remaining eclectic by using various approaches depending on your needs.
