What should a new client know about working with you?

My counseling style is empathic and interactive. I believe the counseling experience is a deeply personal interaction in which the most crucial aspects of this relationship are trust, respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. Counseling is a joint effort that cannot be successful without your hard work, energy, and courage. I practice client-centered, humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused and motivational interviewing counseling approaches.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

**If you are seeking couples therapy, each party must complete separate intake information and contact information for each party must be shared in order for both parties to be booked into the same time slot.** I believe that a sense of self understanding and acceptance is essential in all situations, including understanding how our past experiences have shaped the way we view ourselves, as well as how we understand relating to others. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. If you are ready to take that courageous step towards change for a more fulfilling and happier life, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!
