UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I use a collaborative, individualized approach to therapy, which is something I truly value in my work. Drawing on my education-a Bachelor's degree from Wichita State University and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University-I utilize evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness strategies, and Gottman relationship techniques to help you reach your goals. Together, we will define your goals and discuss the approaches we can take to meet them. Homework may be assigned between sessions to assist you in practicing the skills we cover in therapy. Therapeutic change comes not just from the insights you discover in session but from integrating what you learn into everyday life. You'll leave therapy sessions with tools and strategies to help you stay on track and move forward with your life.
