Psychotherapist
GA
Hi, I'm Hollie. I believe that the development of healthy habits is the key to improving well-being and overall contentment. I believe coping skills should not be used only when in distress or when life is hard but rather as a set of skills we incorporate into our daily lives. Sure, we may step up our game when life becomes challenging, but we deserve self-care every day. As a result, we are better able to access these skills and are more equipped to move ourselves through life's struggles in healthy ways. I have been working as a therapist for around 26 years now and have gained experience in various settings including inpatient, community mental health, and private practice. I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with great professionals and have gained valuable experience as a result. I graduated with a M.Ed., emphasis in community counseling, in 1999 and obtained my LPC in 2005. I have worked with many ages and populations however currently my main focus is adults with anxiety and depression. I focus heavily on CBT and DBT practices to help my patients arm themselves with the ability to navigate life and its many challenges. My goal is to provide support, guidance, and coping skill development as you process issues from the past, stressors in the present, and hopes for the future. I look forward to being a part of your journey.
