Hi, I’m Holly , a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for supporting others in all that life brings. Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside individuals and families through grief, loss, chronic illness, hospice care, palliative care, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. These experiences have taught me that healing doesn’t come from fixing what’s broken—it comes from feeling seen, heard, and supported exactly where you are. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your emotions, make sense of your experiences, and move forward in a way that feels true to you. Whether you’re facing a profound loss, a new diagnosis, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life’s uncertainty, I’m here to help you carry it—with care, presence, and respect. You don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to walk with you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy is a space just for you—where you can speak freely, feel supported, and be met with compassion, not judgment. Whether you're grieving, facing illness, navigating a major life change, or simply feeling overwhelmed, our sessions will be guided by your needs, at your pace. Here’s what you can generally expect: A Safe, Supportive Environment You’ll be welcomed into a calm, respectful space where all parts of your experience are honored. There’s no pressure to “perform” or have the right words—just come as you are. A Collaborative Relationship Therapy is not something I do to you—it’s something we do together. We’ll work side by side to explore what’s going on in your life, identify what matters to you, and gently move toward the changes or insights you’re seeking. Pacing That Respects Your Readiness Especially when dealing with grief, chronic illness, or major transitions, therapy should move at a pace that feels safe. There’s no rush, and no one-size-fits-all approach. We’ll take it one step at a time. Practical Tools, When You’re Ready Along with deep listening and emotional support, I may offer tools like mindfulness practices, grounding techniques, or cognitive strategies to help you cope between sessions—always based on what feels helpful to you. A Space for All of Life Some days you may come in with big emotions; other days you might just need a quiet space to breathe and reflect. All of that is welcome. Therapy is a place to hold whatever life brings—together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As a clinical social worker, my approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, presence, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I believe that meaningful healing happens in a safe, nonjudgmental space—where you can show up exactly as you are, without needing to have it all figured out. I work from a person-centered, strengths-based perspective, which means I honor your voice, values, and inner resilience throughout the process. My style is gentle, collaborative, and flexible—I’m here to walk beside you, not to direct or fix, but to support you in exploring your emotions, understanding your patterns, and moving toward healing at your own pace. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as: Narrative Therapy – helping you make sense of your story and reconnect with meaning Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns Mindfulness and Somatic Practices – building awareness of your body, breath, and emotional regulation Grief-Informed and Trauma-Informed Care – honoring the complexity of loss, uncertainty, and past pain My work is especially attuned to those living with grief, chronic illness, care-giving responsibilities, or navigating difficult transitions. Whether you’re processing loss, adjusting to change, or seeking clarity and connection, I’m here to meet you with empathy, patience, and support. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience. Together, we’ll create a path that honors where you are and where you hope to go.
