Getting to know Holly Wixon
I am a licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Michigan and have been working in the field since 2013. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Western Michigan University. While substance use is my expertise, I have worked with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, and relationship and career challenges. My experience spans diverse clientele, from children to adults, individuals to families.
My goal as your therapist is to create a safe space that empowers you with the tools to achieve your goals. I want my clients to feel supported, encouraged, and cared for. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, humanistic, and solution-focused techniques-a combination that allows you to feel heard and enables me to truly understand you. I am a strong believer in person-centered treatment, a collaborative process where we create a plan tailored to your specific needs and desires.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
