Getting to know Hope Stein

I am a clinically trained therapist offering clients a diverse and progressive therapeutic experience. I have extensive experience with substance use disorders and mental health issues. My training has included working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I utilize assessments to create and develop plans focusing on supportive and individualized therapy. I testified for the Montgomery County Grand Jury as an expert on the opioid epidemic, and I have spoken on behalf of churches, synagogues, and schools to inform them of the importance of education concerning mental health and addiction. I plan to continue this journey because it is my passion to help others renew themselves to an optimal healthy lifestyle. I practice a multitude of therapeutic techniques such as DBT, CBT, rational therapy, family systems, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, emotion regulation, person-centered, and trauma-focused approaches. I believe through therapy you can become a better you. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Rutgers University-Camden.
