Psychotherapist
23 Main St, 2nd Fl Ste B, Watertown, MA
You may be someone who’s thoughtful, sensitive, and outwardly high-functioning—yet inwardly overwhelmed, stuck in patterns of overthinking, self-doubt, or a vague sense of “not enough.” I work well with clients who are navigating cultural transitions, relationship struggles, or the quiet exhaustion of holding everything together. In our work, I offer a space that’s warm, steady, and nonjudgmental—where your feelings can be safely unpacked, your needs explored, and your sense of self slowly reawakened. I help teens and adults who feel anxious, depressed, stuck, isolated, or disconnected, despite seeming “fine” on the outside. My approach is warm, relational, culturally responsive and insight-oriented. Together, we’ll explore patterns, deepen self-understanding, and help you move toward a more grounded, authentic way of being. In our work together, I’ll bring warmth, steadiness, and deep listening. My role isn’t to give quick answers but to be a thoughtful companion as you begin to understand yourself more fully and relate to yourself with more care. I offer a space where you can speak freely, feel deeply, and slowly begin to feel more at home in your own life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients working with me often describe my style as compassionate, thoughtful, and attentive to the complexities of their inner world. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you can bring your full self, knowing that all parts of your experience will be met with care and respect. Together, we work to deepen your understanding of yourself—your emotions, relationships, and patterns—so that you can make more informed and authentic decisions in your life. My aim is to help you not only find relief, but also foster lasting growth and a stronger sense of self.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is grounded in a psychodynamic approach. I begin by creating a safe and supportive space where you can freely share your thoughts and feelings. Together, we look not only at the challenges you’re facing in the present but also at the underlying emotional patterns and past experiences that may be influencing them. Much of the work involves deepening your awareness of your inner world—your wishes, fears, and ways of relating to yourself and others. Over time, this exploration can help you better understand recurring struggles, make more informed choices, and experience greater freedom in your life. I view therapy as a collaborative journey, where our relationship itself can offer valuable insights and opportunities for growth.
