Hello, I'm Huiling. Lately, emotional pain seems to be dictating your life and controlling almost everything you do. It's frustrating, overwhelming, and seemingly endless. It sucks. You try to keep busy to avoid it, but as soon as there is a brief pause in activity: while you wait at a red light, or lie in bed wide awake in the middle of the night, or settle in your chair for a moment of rest, that excruciating feeling creeps back in... It’s so intense and deafening. You have nowhere to hide from it and no power to control it. You have tried the old ways to manage it, but they have stopped working like before. You want to scream and blame. You feel that you are dumb, unworthy of love, or will never be enough. You lament: "Where is the relief? Where is the rescue? Will I ever feel joy again? I am here for you! I have been called to sit with you, in the counseling room, to truly listen to what your heart, mind, and body have to say. I provide a safe space where you and I together will find your way forward. You have a lot inside. It may take us a while to process everything through. Do not hurry or rush. You have all the time and space you will need. At the end, you will become more fully alive, after you embrace your pain, transform your mind, and restore your passion. It has happened for me and so many others - as long as you are willing to take the journey, it will happen to you too.
