Ian Reeder, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
My name is Ian Michael Reeder. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor at Ellie Mental Health and have been practicing for over 3 years. As a therapist, I seek to help those who are struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, relationships, and other challenges that present in life. It is my belief that by equipping people with the tools they need and by respecting their autonomy, they will overcome the challenges they face. I hope for the opportunity to assist you in your journey through recovery. I provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based treatment, to help those struggling through empowerment, modifying behaviors, developing insight, and teaching problem-solving. I am also certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy, an evidence-based treatment focused on treating PTSD in civilian and veteran populations. I find it important to note therapy is not about being or becoming "normal." It is about finding how to be our unique selves in a society full of unique people. I hope for the opportunity to join you on this journey of self-exploration and recovery.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
