Iesha Rodriguez, LCSW

Psychotherapist
FL
When I entered college, I had one career path in mind. Then I took an introduction to social work class, and my life changed for the better. I have a passion for helping others and guiding them to better feelings in life. Helping others brings joy to my life. I hope that when you enter our therapeutic space, you feel safe and heard throughout your session. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Florida State University and obtained my Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I have been in the field of social work since 2013 and have been a therapist since 2017. I cannot wait to work with my community and hope that I can assist in making a positive change. I specialize in Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Gender Affirming Care, LGBTQIA+ Concerns, Family Issues, Work-Related Issues, Stress, and Women's Issues. The populations I serve are adolescents and adults. Additionally, I am a mother of one and a lover of all things Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel. I try to be as down-to-earth and relatable as possible. My goal is to ensure that everyone feels respected and that humanity in therapy is never absent.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The first session is introductory. I will gain background information from you in order to determine the best route for services. I will discuss different modalities of therapy that may be beneficial for you. But ultimately, I want to ensure that we work on what your concerns are and what your goals are.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
