Hello, I'm Indira. I can help by providing an empathetic ear and a safe environment you can trust. My goal is to help equip, encourage, and educate you on how to connect with your best life. I bring a person-centered, solution-focused, and existential approach to my counseling. My philosophy provides us with an opportunity to build genuine rapport as we journey towards positive change. My early counseling experience was in education, where I worked as a school counselor and classroom teacher. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas, and have worked in outpatient as well as inpatient settings. My experience is with adults, elementary-aged children, and adolescents who face challenges with depression, anxiety, trauma, and suicide. I specialize in areas such as grief and bereavement, anger management, family relationships, stress, multicultural and diversity issues, bipolar disorder, and children's mental and behavioral health.
