Whether it's depression, anxiety, adjusting to unforeseen or simply difficult life circumstances, sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel seems so far away. Coming to this point of looking for help is a good sign that the light is drawing closer. I have extensive experience working with people who have lived through trauma, and my humanistic approach is a simple, down-to-earth way of providing support. Looking, thinking about, or being ready to dive into whatever needs to be figured out is half the battle. My specialty stems from a trauma-focused approach, client-centered therapy, and acceptance-and-commitment therapy. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, and my Bachelor’s degree from Molloy University. My biggest joy is seeing others thrive and transform into who they aspire to be. I believe change happens when we come to a point in our lives where we’ve outgrown old habits and environments and yearn for something different—usually, something better. Three words that describe my therapeutic style are open-minded, non-judging, and compassionate.

The first 2 sessions focus on completing an intake assessment and initiating the treatment plan which focuses on treatment goals.
