With a rich international and multicultural background, Irene brings a unique perspective to her practice, grounded in openness and curiosity toward diverse experiences. Fluent in three languages - Korean, Chinese, and English - she provides a safe, engaging, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their authentic selves. Irene uses an integrative and psychodynamic approach, blending tools from CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family and relational issues, perfectionism, negative body image, self-esteem, and confidence. Through this journey, her goal is to guide clients in building trust in themselves and the world, embracing vulnerability, and finding their true selves. Drawing from her clinical experience at a psychiatric hospital, Irene is passionate about working collaboratively with clients experiencing both psychological and physical symptoms. She is dedicated to helping them manage their symptoms and empowering them to reclaim control over their lives. Irene holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
