What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy is one of the few places where people get to show up exactly as they are — and be met with understanding instead of judgment. That’s the kind of space I work hard to create. I became a therapist because I know what it feels like to carry heavy experiences while still trying to move through life as if everything is fine. Whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use, stress, or anger that feels overwhelming, I meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you build tools for healing and growth. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual. I integrate CBT, trauma-informed therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices to help clients feel grounded, capable, and connected to themselves again.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In my practice, I draw from several evidence‑based approaches, depending on each client’s needs and goals. One of the primary modalities I use is Person‑Centered Therapy. During our first session, we’ll take time to explore what brought you to therapy, discuss your concerns in depth, and identify the most appropriate therapeutic approaches to support your progress. Person‑Centered Therapy is grounded in the belief that individuals have an inherent capacity for growth when provided with the right conditions. This approach emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and a nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship. My role is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your experiences openly and begin moving toward meaningful change.
