Isis has over 25 years of counseling experience. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy which is a specialized therapy used to treat childhood, adolescent and adult trauma. She is also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) which is a comprehensive cognitive behavioral therapy used to help people with emotional dysregulation. Isis is passionate about serving a diverse population of clients, including the LGBTQ+ community and underserved populations.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you request your appointment, you will be sent an invite link for Brightside Health. You will need to enter your insurance and payment information to confirm your appointment.During your initial consultation we will craft a treatment plan personalized to your needs, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. You will also be able message me directly at anytime via the messaging section of your Brightside Health portal - a tool where will also track your progress, access resources, and see your treatment plan details.*Please note: If you are looking for ADHD care, I do not prescribe controlled medications like Adderall or Ritalin. However, we can support you with therapy and other medications commonly used in ADHD treatment, such as Strattera and Intuniv.*
