Ivett is a bilingual (English/Spanish) psychotherapist who works with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, ADHD, depression, life transitions, and first-generation experiences. She provides culturally responsive therapy tailored to individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her approach is person-centered, empowering, and culturally grounded, integrating evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Ivett works collaboratively with clients, meeting them where they are and helping them build practical tools to achieve meaningful, lasting change. Ivett earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Dominican University and has over seven years of clinical experience supporting youth and adults. She is passionate about helping clients build confidence, develop coping skills, and create healthier patterns in their lives. Her goal is to create a safe and empowering therapeutic environment where clients feel supported in their personal growth and healing journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive an email from our secure client portal, TherapyPortal, with instructions to create your account and complete your intake paperwork. Please note that the portal link is active for 24 hours, so we recommend completing this step as soon as possible. All required forms must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows your therapist to review your information and prepare for your session. If the paperwork is not completed within this timeframe, the appointment will be automatically canceled. Our goal is to make your start to therapy as smooth and efficient as possible, while ensuring we are fully prepared to support you from your very first session.
