Psychotherapist
1965 S Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka, FL
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over seven years of experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults as they navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth. I specialize in helping clients build coping skills, improve self-awareness and develop the tools needed for independence and healthy relationships. I have worked in the public-school setting, private industry, department of juvenile justice, department of children and families and in case management. Living an active life that consist of running, serving at my local church, facilitating a mental health book club and participating in networking groups keep me grounded and rejuvenated. In our first session together, here's what you can expect The first session is all about getting to know you and understanding what bring you into therapy. We'll start by talking about what's been going on in your life, any challenges you're facing and what you'd like to get out of therapy. I'll ask some questions to better understand your background and your current concerns. We will discuss your goals for treatment. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions I use evidence-based approaches focusing on helping clients build real skills. I help clients move towards independence, adulting and real-world functioning. I work well with clients who feel stuck and need help understanding the root of their problems. I gentle challenge clients to grow. The clients I'm best positioned to serve My ideal client doesn't have to have everything together- but they are open. Open to self-reflection, learning new skills, and looking at patterns in their thoughts, emotions and behaviors. They are willing to engage in the process both in and outside of sessions, whether that's practicing coping skills, reflecting on their experiences or applying what we discuss in real life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
