Negotiating change can be a daunting task for adolescents and adults alike, often causing significant stress. This emotional or behavioral reaction may manifest as anxiety, depressive symptoms, and/or behavioral changes. Common triggers include work or school problems, moving, financial issues, relationship difficulties, family conflict, illness, or starting a new school or job. Since 2005, I have assisted countless adolescents and adults as they navigate these challenges. Utilizing psychotherapy and coaching, I work with individuals, couples, and families. My personal style is best described as warm, genuine, and understanding. I deliver my services with compassion, empathy, and a twist of humor. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Monmouth University. My specialty is helping people manage change to live happier, healthier, and more productive lives. I am certified in life coaching, anger management, parenting education, and mediation. As a member of the guidance team, I serve as the mental health clinician at Christian Brothers Academy. My clients report the following successes: increased educational and career aspirations; diminished feelings of unhappiness, sadness, depression, and self-harm; improved sleep habits and reduced worrying; less destructive behavior and feelings of anger; enhanced ability to make better decisions and understand consequences; decreased use of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs; and increased and improved interaction with families and friends.
