Hello, I'm Matthew. Life can become very challenging and complex at times. From major life changes to seemingly small, day-to-day stress that can build up over time, it can feel very overwhelming for anyone. This can especially be true if you feel isolated or that you can't see past these difficulties. I am here to help you understand that it is possible to overcome the problems life throws at you. I will be with you every step of the way as we work together to tackle the issues of life. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's degree and 10 years of experience. Additionally, I am an army veteran with 10 years of service. My professional journey includes individual practice, where I have focused on addressing depression, anxiety, anger, and relationship issues. I also had the privilege of working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, helping veterans and their families understand and overcome PTSD. I specialize in working with adults using cognitive and psychoanalytic therapies. Upon request, I can incorporate a Christian faith-based focus into our sessions. My goal is to partner with you to better understand your world and help you overcome the challenges you face. By gaining insight into present challenges and the potential impact of past experiences, you can change how you perceive and handle problems, empowering you to experience a more fulfilling life. I believe in building a professional relationship rooted in trust, ensuring that you know you are heard and that you are not alone. Whether you're dealing with anger Maleagement, anxiety, depression, family or roMaletic relationships, life transitions, military or veteran support, PTSD, sleep disorders, spirituality, stress, or suicidal ideation and self-harming, I am here to support you.
