What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me, clients can expect a therapy experience that is collaborative, thoughtful, and individualized. I do not believe in a one size fits all approach. Instead, I focus on understanding who you are, what you are navigating, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients develop insight into patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, or trauma responses. Together, we will work on building coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and creating strategies that support emotional balance. I place a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and strive to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and grounded. Therapy is a process, and my goal is to support you consistently as you move toward greater clarity, confidence, and stability.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with taking time to understand you. In the first sessions, we focus on your concerns, goals, and what led you to seek therapy. This allows us to build a shared understanding of your experiences and establish a direction that feels meaningful and manageable. As therapy continues, we work collaboratively using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to explore patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, or trauma-related concerns. Together, we identify practical strategies and coping tools that can be applied both in and outside of sessions. Throughout our work, I prioritize a supportive and respectful environment. We regularly check in on what is working and adjust our approach as needed. The process is flexible and paced to support steady, sustainable progress.
