Have you found it difficult to trust in your faith in your darkest hours? Do you have a desire deep within to reconnect with your faith and become mentally and spiritually stronger? As a Christian, I always try to lead a life worthy of the grace of God. I am easy going and can relate well to others. More than anything, I believe in the sacrificial love of Christ believing that I put myself last over the needs of others. I pledge and promise myself to always help and comfort my clients and students. I believe in compassionate, empathic, judgment-free psychotherapy and unconditional acceptance of each person by establishing the key ingredients of trust and respect from the first moment a client sits in front of me. I have an extensive background in Christian counseling and can assist you in releasing old wounds of the past so you can experience a brighter future today. I have extensive experience working in nursing homes, churches, various individual and group practices, psychiatric hospitals, and in-home settings as well as experience in being a hospital and nursing home chaplain since 1972. I graduated from The Iliff School of Theology in 1982 and hold a Masters’ degree with Honors in Counselor Education from Texas A & M University. I received chemical dependency credentialing (LCDC) in 2015 through the AcuDetox acupuncture program at Texas Health and Science University in December 2018 and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Psychology degree from the Graduate Theological Foundation. I use CBT, REBT, Adlerian, Logotherapy or meaning-centered counseling developed by Dr. Viktor Frankl, self-worth issues, and tools to dissipate shame, guilt, and blame towards the soul. I have five years’ experience teaching and instructing in adult education at Houston Community College at the Fuller Campus from 2010-2015 as a part-time adjunct professor. I’m also a published author with Xlibris Books, The ABC’s of Emotional Health and Spiritual Wealth: Our Journey Towards Mea
