Psychotherapist
1625 S St, Philadelphia, PA
I believe that good things can happen when we work together. Whether you need to make a change or are going through hard times, a good therapeutic relationship offers new insights and opens new possibilities. I draw on my life history to work with the wide range of human experiences. From graduate studies in literature to executive roles in the tech industry, and from athletics to the arts, I bring a background that's broader than just my psychology training. Regardless of what's on your mind, I'd love to hear about it. I'm afraid I'm not able to take insurance, but in some cases I can offer a sliding scale.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We all need help sometimes. Our work will focus on finding the path that's right for you. I believe therapy can heal intergenerational trauma, enhance creative and artistic expression, and make us better in all our roles: sons and daughters, husbands and wives, parents, siblings, and friends, as well as leaders, artists, athletes, and human beings.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with people who are trying to find the path that's right for them, personally or professionally. I work with start-up founders and aspiring marathoners; academics and creatives; new parents, career changers, and people struggling with relationships and divorce. Therapy opens doors when you feel stuck and releases energy to realize your potential. Therapy can help with many things: --It can unlock inner resources. Whether you want to run a marathon or write a book, start a business or change careers, you’ve got it in you. Together, we can discover the right path for you to make it happen. --It can help manage transitions. Becoming a parent, changing jobs, getting divorced, caring for family members… These are a lot. You don’t have to handle them alone. --And it can help free yourself from the past. There’s no better way to free yourself from whatever is holding you back, making your heart ache, or keeping you from the life you want.
