Getting to know Jack Stein

Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from New York University and a PhD in Health Services Administration from Walden University. With decades of experience, I am passionate about inspiring and motivating others to become the best version of themselves. I am also a certified executive coach dedicated to fostering high performance while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. I find special satisfaction in helping people transition into the next phase of their personal and professional lives. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings involving counseling, supervision, policy, and communications. Over the past 25 years, I have held numerous senior advisory positions in the federal government, including roles in the Executive Office of the President and the National Institutes of Health, where I collaborated with many of the world's leading experts on mental health and addiction. These experiences continually inform my therapy and coaching practice, ensuring it reflects the most current understanding of human behavior and positive change. My partner Peter and I have been together for over 30 years and now reside in Fort Lauderdale with our Russell Terrier, Rocco (special guest appearances made during sessions upon request).

What should a new client know about working with you?

Needing to make a big change? Stuck in a job, relationship, or routine? Wanting to “turn the page” and create a new chapter in life but don’t know how to begin? It happens to all of us and there's something we can do. It's called "mental fitness." Just like physical fitness trains our bodies, mental fitness trains our brains to help us respond to life's challenges with a positive mindset to improve performance, lower stress, and build healthy relationships.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
