Getting to know Jacklyn Amberwood

The therapeutic process is an investigative, creative and deeply personal one; never a one size fits all. Believing every client already has their own solutions within, my job is to assist you in accessing them. My approach is best described as integrative psychotherapy; drawing from many paths to achieve the right fit for you, the client. We build this customized path together. That path may blend elements from cognitive, psychodynamic, behavioral, somatic, trauma, family systems, expressive arts and other therapies. If meaningful to you, the path may also include personal spiritual beliefs and other "knowings" you hold true, as well as mindfulness techniques, focused homework to help strengthen your desired direction of change and expressive art experiences. It is your choice. As your therapist, I am honored to be of service to YOU.
