Jaclyn Clarke, LCPC

Psychotherapist
2000 N Racine Ave, Ste 3300, Chicago, IL
I have clinical experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults in moments of crisis and trauma and enjoy working with all persons across the lifespan. I have developed skills in supporting individuals who experience stress, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and have difficulty navigating life transitions. I believe a successful therapeutic relationship begins with establishing a safe and genuine environment where clients can explore their inner selves, personal life experiences, and authentically express themselves. In working collaboratively with clients, I hope to create the change they want in their lives by supporting and empowering them to embody their own strengths. As a therapist, my goal is to help you build a better relationship, both with yourself and others, by exploring your needs, building effective skills from previously existing strengths, integrating self-compassion, and fostering self-acceptance. I truly invest in the client-counselor relationship and believe in advocating for the client by staying sensitive to cultural and societal influences so I can fully understand a person’s unique experience and guide them to becoming their best self. I enjoy incorporating humor and movement into my practice and believe in increasing one’s self-understanding by utilizing mind-body connection techniques. I hold a Master of Education in Counseling from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
