What should a new client know about working with you?

I use an attachment focused approach, utilizing Ego State therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques. Eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is integrated into treatment when appropriate. I utilize emotion-focused therapy (EFT) and Gottman's method when working with couples.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I understand talking about difficult issues can be challenging and uncomfortable. My empathic, calm demeanor provides a safe space for couples and individuals to discuss problem areas in their lives. My goal is to build a trusting relationship, so, together we work on ways to improve those areas and lead a more fulfilling life.
