Psychotherapist
1811 W North Ave, Ste 402, Chicago, IL
Relationships are the soil in which we grow. This belief has deeply shaped my life and ultimately called me into the work of therapy. I have always been drawn to understanding people and sitting beside them with curiosity and care, offering a steady presence and a grounded space for healing. Through my own journey with depression, I experienced the transformative power of being truly seen, understood, and supported by a therapist. I am guided by the belief that every person deserves a place where they can rest, be known, and feel supported in creating meaningful change. Becoming a therapist allows me to honor the humanity of others by holding space for both pain and growth. It is a deep privilege to witness the quiet, powerful shifts that emerge through authentic connection and to support clients as they move toward healing, insight, and a fuller sense of themselves.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with adolescents and adults who are seeking greater self awareness, emotional balance, and more peace within themselves and their relationships. I support clients navigating relational challenges, trauma, PTSD, mood concerns, and ongoing inner conflict that can affect daily life and relationships. These experiences are often rooted in a desire for stability, meaning, and emotional safety. I also work with couples who feel disconnected or out of alignment in their goals or values and want to strengthen their connection. In our work together, we’ll explore themes such as attachment, self esteem, identity, spirituality or religion, life transitions, and feelings of guilt or shame. We will focus on identifying underlying needs and building healthier patterns that support healing, connection, and long term well being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My hope is that when you step into our shared space, you are met with a sense of warmth, ease, and safety. I aim to create an environment where you can feel safe being fully yourself and feel comfortable not knowing everything or being able to solve everything. Therapy is a living, creative process that we will collaboratively shape based on your goals and needs we address in the first session and throughout our time together. I weave in regular check-ins so we can remain aligned and move in the direction that feels most supportive to you. I integrate interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and various mindfulness and somatic practices. With couples, therapy is focused on establishing shared values and goals, identifying areas of strength and support, and regaining connection and intimacy. My intention is that you leave each session feeling grounded, empowered, and more resourced as you take your next steps toward wholeness. I believe that we can find the strengths and values that have guided you this far to create a sense of hope as we envision the path forward you seek.
