Getting to know Jacqueline Biggs

Hello, I'm Jackie. Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work, and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? Are you faced with emotional challenges? Do you long for clarity on the how, the why, and the what to do? Because understanding is always that one step closer to your healing, I will help you answer the tough questions. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, communication, relationship issues, grief, self-worth, and more, you may need the help of a professional to support you on your journey to psychological health. I understand that facing the insurmountable stresses of life leaves many feeling uncertain about their place and purpose in the world. This is why I utilize a person-centered, evidence-based approach to therapy that allows individuals the opportunity to discover and identify abilities that lead to accessing a successful life. Providing a safe, judgment-free, trustworthy, and compassionate environment is the space I create as a therapist. In this space, I help individuals focus on their unique needs, validate their experiences, unlock their inner strengths, and in so doing, reclaim their power to navigate a fulfilling life that is healed. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lincoln University, which equips me with the knowledge and skills to guide you effectively through your healing journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect at the end of your first session to have a clear understanding of what the therapeutic process would look life for you. You should expect the therapeutic space to be safe, nurturing, compassionate and uplifting, yet honest, and handled with care. With your goals defined, you and I will work towards empowered relief, development of coping strategies and skills and the rebuilding of self worth and esteem.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Dr. Jackie was helpful from our first session. She is extremely talented in her field. She was able to help find the root of issues quickly simply by helping us look at things from a different perspective. Really happy to have found a great therapist!
She is a great listener and communicator. It took me a while to find a therapist i felt comfortable with and trust and she is my go to. I talk to her about a variety of things and after our calls i feel so much better. She is the best!

Made snap judgements on the two times we made an appointment. It’s a difficult time, didn’t want to follow up or even learn more about us before making a decision.

We've been doing couples sessions with Jackie for a few months and honestly it's been great. Jackie is direct but light (if that makes sense), remembers what was discussed in previous sessions (something no other therapist I've worked with has done), and overall just really genuine and helpful. I'm really grateful for our sessions, and happy to continue the work with her.
Prompt and to the point!

She's very personable. Talks you through a lot of things in terms of how therapy proceeds. But also allows a great and comfortable space for you to communicate in

She makes me address things that I don’t want to. Very direct and doesn’t sugar coat things and holds me accountable. It’s hard stuff to hear and come to terms with sometimes but she is changing my mindset one session at a time and that was my goal when I decided to seek therapy. I feel more empowered. I feel like there’s a major breakthrough in the future if I continue to work with her. Very happy with her service thus far.
Dr. Jackie connected with me instantly. I’m very happy I saw her and will definitely keep seeing her moving forward. I recommend her 100%.
