Psychotherapist
TX
Your first session will begin with a bio-psychosocial assessment, where I can gain a broad picture of your culture, strengths, barriers, and potential solutions. During our second session, we will work together to create treatment plans that help you actualize the success you want to experience in your life by utilizing SMART goals and objectives, ensuring they are reasonable and attainable. Crisis sessions are available for those who need them. Family and/or couples sessions are encouraged, especially when dealing with addiction. I utilize a person-centered approach that helps you explore the strengths you already know exist within you and apply those to pragmatic solutions to get you where you want to be in life. If you are struggling with chronic relapse, institutionalization through the criminal justice system, or multiple attempts at rehabs, I am here to help you identify patterns and break those cycles by doing something different than you've done before. I hold a PhD in Counseling from Texas Tech University, and both a master's degree in Counseling and a bachelor's degree from Lubbock Christian University.
