Psychotherapist
OH
Hello, I'm Jacqueline! Since 2008, I've had the privilege of working as a therapist with children, adolescents, and adults. My journey in this field has allowed me to gain extensive experience in treating substance use disorders and supporting families affected by their loved ones' substance use. Over the years, I've provided individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. In our sessions, I integrate traditional therapeutic interventions and, when desired, incorporate Expressive Arts to enhance the healing process. As a Certified Dancing Mindfulness Facilitator, I offer the practice of Dancing Mindfulness, a therapeutic creative movement and meditation practice that can be a powerful tool for self-discovery and healing. My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in a person-centered, mindfulness-based, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), solution-focused, and trauma-informed approach. I believe in focusing on the Here and Now, helping you to heal any past hurts, hang-ups, or habits that may be interfering with your daily functioning. Together, we will work on your individual treatment needs, guiding you on your own healing journey. I look forward to supporting you in your healing and recovery journey!
