What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients should know that my approach is warm, supportive, and trauma-informed, while also direct and appropriately challenging when needed. I aim to create a safe space where you feel heard and understood, while helping you examine patterns, consider new perspectives, and make meaningful changes. I work collaboratively and tailor therapy to your individual needs. You can expect sessions to focus on increasing insight, strengthening your voice, developing healthier coping strategies, and helping you feel more empowered in your life and relationships.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I begin by learning about your concerns, history, goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to current difficulties and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Sessions may include exploring past and present experiences, building coping and emotional regulation skills, challenging unhelpful thoughts, and practicing healthier ways of responding in relationships and daily life. Because my approach is trauma-informed, we work at a pace that feels safe and manageable. We regularly review your progress and adjust our focus as your needs and goals evolve.
