Getting to know Jacqueline Russak

Hi, I am Jackie If you are taking the time to read my profile that means that you have made the decision to get some support for yourself or someone you love. Pat yourself on the back, taking the first step is the most difficult and you have just done that. I have been a social worker for 25 years in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. I earned my BSW in 2001 from LaSalle University and my MSW in 2004 from Temple University. I obtained my LSW license in 2007 and my LCSW license in 2010. I have worked in the home, community, school, and in-patient hospital settings. I pride myself on providing individual and strengths based clinical support to my clients. I use humor, honesty, and radical acceptance in the work I do with my clients. I use a blend of therapeutic styles based on the individual needs of my client. I do use self -disclosure about my own trauma if I feel that it is beneficial to my client and the work we are doing together. Establishing and building rapport is paramount to any working relationship. I am easy to establish rapport with and am very outgoing. I believe that every person deserves to be accepted, celebrated, and loved for who they are. I believe that my purpose as a social worker is to partner and support my clients in becoming the best versions of themselves. I am a childhood sexual abuse survivor, a domestic violence survivor, a date rape survivor, and a spiritual gangsta. I am also a mother of 5 children, 3 human and 2 canine , a wife, a daughter, a sister, an Aunt, a friend, and a step daughter. I wear many different hats, just like my clients do. :)

What should a new client know about working with you?

My clients can expect to be actively listened to and supported by me during our time together. My clients can expect to have a partnership with me where I help them to help themselves with whatever they are struggling with at the time ie: anxiety, depression, family conflict, etc. My clients will be validated, heard, and supported by me in our work together. My clients will be accepted for being their authentic and true selves. My clients will not feel judged. My clients will feel empowered at the end of our time together.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Best experience over all I have ever had with any physician in my life!!! I would recommend her to many shes the best!
I have enjoyed my therapy experience and appreciate the support and non suggestive style of Jacqueline.
She has had such a positive impact on my life in such a short time.
She’s wonderful, unlike any other therapist in the best way!
Jackie is the most incredible human being i have ever met and i am thankful for her everyday! She helped get through my anxiety so much and now ive been making deans list thanks to her:)
Jackie goes above and beyond for her clients! She’s authentic, empowering, humorous and most important of all- human. She listens to you and responds with empathy and compassion and makes you feel understood and cared for. I’ve only had a few sessions but I can see this as the beginning of a lasting journey
Jackie has been a light in my life that I've searched for for far to long. Her authenticity and the way she challenges you to recognize your own behaviors has been life changing for me. I am so happy I took this leap again. Jackie doesn't make me feel like I'm just another client, she cares! She has empathy and really listens.
Always remembers things you’ve told her and applies things from previous sessions. The first therapist I’ve felt like continues with each session. So many providers don’t even bother looking at their previous notes and make you repeat yourself, not Jackie. She remembers, she’s mindful. She’ll meet you where ever you’re at in your journey and work to help you through one step at a time
Jackie is the best therapist I have ever had, hands down. She is so compassionate and understanding. Talking to her is the highlight of my week:)
Jackie has been so wonderful! She’s truly helped me get through this difficult time in my life. I’ve never had a therapist I’ve loved talking to as much as Jackie! I always feel empowered and better after our sessions. I’d highly recommend her to everyone!
Jacqueline is warm and kind. She is great with my 7 yo son who has ADHD and disruptive mood dysregulation disorder. She is high energy and responsive
She is amazing. She has been a blessing since I started with helping me work through my problems. She has been nothing but supportive and never places a single shred of doubt in my mind. I look forward to meeting with her every week.
