Hey there! Lend me your ears! If you want to tackle life in a more effective way than life has been tackling you in some areas of your livelihood, then you are reading the right profile! I have been practicing for roughly 10 years and have learned quite a bit of life hacks along the way, and I want to share them with you! I have an M.A. in Counseling and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license that is governed by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC). I am a very creative and fun therapist who is allergic to boredom, which influences my approaches to the treatment of my clients. Speaking of my approach, train of thought, methodologies... I am a cognitive-behavioral, didactic-choice clinician. What does that mean? Well, I will attempt to teach you to see the 'not-so-great events' in your life as 'not-so-great events in that time and space only' and help you understand you have a choice to either do something about it or learn to live with the event. I do not judge. I do not mind if we have to go over these concepts over and over again because it is my belief that only when you are ready will the universe allow you to apply the concepts I have taught you. And not a moment sooner! Life can be hard; I get it! It can be a little 'sticky' for therapists at times too! But we take these moments, work through them, and make life a little more livable—not one day at a time, but sometimes, one minute at a time.
