Hello, I'm Jade. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies in 2009, with a minor in Psychology. After gaining valuable experience in People Management, I went on to complete my Master of Education in Professional Counseling with a dual emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling from Stephens College in 2012. My diverse educational and professional journey has equipped me to provide individualized care to a wide range of clients.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan, including those with developmental disabilities, severe and persistent mental illness, and those navigating various life transitions. I believe that fostering and developing relationships is a crucial component of leading a well-balanced and healthy lifestyle. As your therapist, my role is to guide and support you in exploring, processing, learning techniques, gaining perspective, and following through on ways to achieve your goals.
I specialize in addressing stress, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and grief/bereavement. My therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, PSB-CBT, Illness Management and Recovery, and Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment. Additionally, I am skilled in Career Development, Individual and Family Therapy, Couples/Marriage Therapy, Coaching, Conflict Resolution, and Training.
