Hello, I am Jaime Corral, a driven, bilingual (written/verbal fluency) Licensed Therapist (LCSW) and problem solver with a strong record of providing mental health services. I am recognized for my collaborative efforts within the community, ability to build strong partnerships, organizational skills, and external relationship-building abilities. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from California State University, Northridge. I have excellent case management and clinical skills, having worked as a contracted clinician for over 12 years at Children’s Bureau and the LA County Department of Mental Health. I use Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) modalities to address mental health needs, including crisis intervention, depression, and anxiety, primarily with families, couples, and adults. I provided individual and family therapy to mostly Spanish-speaking clients. Before obtaining my degree, I was a member of the Department of Mental Health’s Crisis Intervention Unit, part of a team assessing and providing crisis intervention to children, youth, and families. I am certified as a Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP) therapist and trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I am an energetic team player with strong people and clinical skills who handles stress well. I stand by my values and principles and am a strong believer in social justice. Through advocacy, support, and guidance, I aim to empower and promote the well-being and growth of those most in need. I have worked in diverse clinical settings and am a compassionate, empathetic therapist with strong clinical abilities and understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through trauma, grief, depression, and other life-changing experiences impacting their lives.
