Psychotherapist
NJ
The provider is a “Licensed Professional Counselor" and their license number is 37PC00817200 Starting therapy can feel intimidating if you’re not sure what to expect. You don’t have to have all the answers—just the willingness to begin. I bring a well-rounded, compassionate approach that I hope will help you to feel seen, understood, and supported as you work through what’s weighing on you. I have completed Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, relational-cultural theory, and other modalities, with a strengths-based perspective. My approach is collaborative, and I can help you define goals so we can tailor the therapeutic process to meet your needs. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward—whether in your relationships, at home, or within yourself. Maybe you’re a teen trying to find your voice, a parent facing challenges with your child, an adult navigating anxiety or life transitions, or a couple longing to reconnect but not sure where to start. You don’t need to have it all figured out. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I use person-centered therapy to build trust and connection, and I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy to help you recognize and reframe unhelpful thoughts that may be keeping you stuck. I also incorporate other methods based on your unique needs—we’ll work together to decide what makes the most sense for you. Our work will be goal-oriented and flexible, giving you space to reflect while also making progress.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with teens (12+), adults, and couples who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves or their relationships. My clients are often navigating anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, family or relationship stress, and a desire for more clarity and direction. I also work with couples who want to improve communication, rebuild trust, or deepen their connection. I aim to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen and heard. I help clients define their goals and move at a pace that feels right—offering both structure and flexibility as we work toward meaningful change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My communication style is open, relaxed, and supportive. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, heard, and never judged. I'm calm and patient in my approach, while also being direct when needed to help you gain clarity and make meaningful progress. You can expect a balance of warmth, encouragement, and honest reflection as we work together.
