Getting to know James Jackson

I am a therapist with a Master's in Social Work from Florida State University who has helped individuals develop positive coping skills to overcome barriers that have kept them from reaching their goals in life. Those who come to my practice feel welcomed and accepted in a non-judgmental environment. I often hear from my clients, especially men, that they wish they had not postponed treatment before starting services with me. By actively listening to your concerns, worries, and issues that are keeping you from your goals, you and I will get to work on overcoming those barriers.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After the first session, clients can start to visualize and identify the barriers that are keeping them from having a more positive life. A plan will be developed to help the client reach their potential and overcome their challenges.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
