What should a new client know about working with you?

After our first session, which will consist mostly of my asking questions to get to know you and to assess your needs, we will work together to develop a treatment plan, which will address the goals that the client would like to achieve in therapy. During each session, we will discuss your thoughts, feelings, and concerns, and I will help you to explore what is behind those concerns. We will look at your life experience and current situation, and how they all affect the person that you are. We will then work on how you can use your strengths, coping skills, and to learn new strategies to deal with your concerns. It is my hope that you leave each session with the feeling that you were supported and that you obtained information that is beneficial to you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
