Getting to know James Saxton

My name is James and there is a lot of 'alphabet soup' behind my name. I can review these with you at a later time if you would like. What I would like to recognize is that I am one human meeting another human on this path. It is a respected honor to be able to hold space and guidance for another and I take this honor in a humble way. I have worked as a licensed chemical dependency counselor since 2016 in both a residential and outpatient setting. I have met many from various socioeconomic, gender identification, cultural backgrounds, various goals, and preferences for therapy. This is the same I would like to offer to you -- your goals, your preferences, and your individual experience. In addition to substance use, I have also worked with trauma, anxiety, depression, bi-polar, and a variety of other conditions. I do have experience in a variety of modalities and we can adapt to ones that work for you. I do hold a trauma-informed/responsive, humanisitic, and existential lens. I look forward to working with you.
