Is anxiety, depression, or relationship conflict overwhelming you? My clients have experienced anxiety in many ways: lack of control in their life, racing thoughts, feeling as if they have to put their own needs last. The list goes on. It doesn't matter how you experience anxiety, depression, or interpersonal conflict, it can be a very debilitating feeling that robs you AND your loved ones. I'm familiar with these experiences and the horrible way they can leave you feeling about yourself. My goal is to help others learn how to overcome what is holding them back and regain control of their life. I listen to my clients as they tell me about their personal experiences. I also give feedback and help you understand why you are experiencing what you are. I draw from my experiences as well as my education and the experiences of those I have worked with. I offer an environment where you can share without feeling judged or worry about confidentiality. I realize starting therapy or changing therapist can be difficult and frustrating. I work to customize the approach I use with each client. I realize that some want a therapist who will mostly listen, while others like to have more feedback from their therapist; I will offer what you need. We will work together at your speed.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Casual Experience. Will utilize multiple approaches, dependent on my Client's needs. We will approach your goals at your pace, challenging you when you are ready. I also like to throw some humor into my sessions when appropriate!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I prefer to do a 10 minute consultation with my client's, free of charge before our first meeting. This insures we will be a good fit for each other and I can help you with what you need. I will need to verify insurance and any other forms of payment you may choose. I have some forms that will need to be filled out online before our first session also.
