“She was super nice and she really was a great therapist, but you should schedule your appointments a few months in advance. The wait time was only ever 10 min or so which is pretty good. :) ”

Jami Hanneman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined Georgia Behavioral Professionals in April 2018, working in the Roswell office. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and has over 12 years of experience working with children, adults, and families.
Jami has spent several years working with children on the autism spectrum, adolescents with behavioral or emotional difficulties, and the effects of these challenges on their families. She also has experience treating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, and chronic illness. Jami utilizes a holistic approach to therapy, employing a variety of techniques including CBT, psychodynamic theory, and certain DBT modalities such as mindfulness. Her approach to therapy is non-judgmental, individualized, and strength-based.

She is very easy talk to and keeps conversation going. She does not give the feeling that she is just letting you talk; she is truly interested in you, the patient. She remember what you tell her before and helps you work out your thoughts.
