Through counseling, I want to help you take back control and start living your best life. I take a client-centered approach, helping you feel motivated and capable of making changes. In our sessions, we would work to increase your awareness and understanding of the challenges you are facing while developing concrete ways to address them. I am independently licensed in professional clinical counseling (LPCC-S) and chemical dependency counseling (LICDC) in the state of Ohio. I have an extensive history of working with mental health and substance use diagnoses with adults and teens. I graduated from Marshall University with a bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in sociology in 2012. I went on to get my master’s degree from Lindsey Wilson in Counseling and Human Development, where I graduated in 2015. Since I began my counseling career, I have worked as a mental health counselor, a substance use counselor, and a clinical director. I currently own my own private practice where I see clients via telehealth. I will soon be opening an in-person location as well. I have worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use, bipolar disorder, major life changes, difficulty controlling anger, and other mental and emotional complications. My ideal client is someone ready to face their challenges and work on overcoming them. I offer a non-judgmental and compassionate approach. Asking for help can be a very difficult step, but you are not alone. We all need support at times, and I would be honored to provide that for you.
