Jami Stobaugh, LPC

Jami Stobaugh, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
I consider my role as a therapist to be one of the most sacred parts of my life. There is a beauty in walking alongside people in search of safety, meaning, belonging, healing, hope, and love. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the key to healing. Through each therapeutic relationship I build, I walk away changed and inspired by individuals’ capacity to grow, accept, change, and see the beauty in themselves and the world around them. It brings me joy to walk the journey of hope and witness the magic of others overcoming their difficult experiences. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and trauma-informed. I aim to meet each client where they are in their life journey and provide a warm and safe place for them. I value honesty, humor, and vulnerability within the therapeutic relationship, as well as creativity, connection, and collaboration. I take an individualized approach for each client. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively. To my clients, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, validator, empathizer, and place of warmth. To my friends and family, I am outgoing, funny, and the hype woman. I enjoy being around others but also taking time to myself. It would be a joy to partner with you on your therapeutic journey as you seek to root and restore.
