Jamie Ward, MS

Psychotherapist
FL
Hi! My name is Jamie, and I've been a counselor for about a decade now. I specialize in toxic and abusive relationships, whether with parents, romantic partners, or friendships. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor's from North Greenville University. I'm trained in several therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), but the most important thing is finding an approach that works for you. You're an individual, so counseling will be tailored to your specific needs-maybe you don't even know what you want or need right now because you've never been to counseling before! That's perfectly okay. The relationship between counselor and individual is key. It's so important to build a trusting bond, so I will spend time getting to know you as well as helping you. I believe everyone has the power to promote change within themselves, but sometimes we all need a little guidance. What an awesome step you've made-I know it took courage! I offer a non-judgmental atmosphere because we're all people with pasts. A little about me: I practice yoga and Reiki healing. I enjoy spending my days with my partner and our two boys, reading, and crocheting (very therapeutic!). I also love hiking and traveling. I can't wait to get to know more about you and support you where you are in your journey.
