Hello, my name is Jamie. I have been involved in individual therapy since graduating from the University of Southern California in 2012 with a Master's in Social Work. I started in substance use treatment and then worked with individuals with severe mental health issues. I later expanded my treatment to supporting neurodivergent populations, the LGBTQ+ community, and victims/survivors of trauma. My philosophy is always to meet the individual where they are at, which to me means embracing objectivity, exercising true empathy, and engaging in strengths-based treatment. I am familiar with DBT, CBT, CPT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing.
