My journey in the field of mental health spans over 12 years, during which I have managed regulatory oversight of behavioral health facilities and served in various leadership roles, including Director of Inpatient Behavioral Health at UCHealth-Anschutz and Team Lead/Program Manager at the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Community Counseling: Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision. My approach to counseling is person-centered, culturally inclusive, trauma-informed, and systemic. I believe in exploring and resolving the root causes of presenting issues to foster lasting change.
