Getting to know Jane Montgomery

I enjoy working with clients as they face many different challenges and changes in their life . We are all faces with a lot of transitions that we either want to initiate or that we are asked to adjust to. It can be exhausting , overwhelming, confusing and empowering as well, My hope would be to help you find the strength you have to navigate these challenges and to see your strength as well as the hidden opportunities that this opens up. All changes require grief, courage, and hope! I work well with clts from later adolescence through the life span. I have had a long career working with clients in a wide variety of settings including inpatient settings, output settings, schools, home based programs , crisis programs and community mental health administration offices. In such service I have developed a wide range of experiences and learned a lot from clients as they navigate life, the tools necessary and the components of resliance. I feel it is a privlige to be included in someones journey and transition from challenge to courage. I do use an eclectic approach to therapy-, am an active participaten and advocate for my clients. I believe in offering a strong base of education for clients to understand their processes, symptoms and options to address the issues that are presented. I know the strength of people and believe we can overcome most things if heard, supported and taught new skills.
