Hello! It’s good to see you! I’m Janel McDonald, and my goal is to provide you with compassionate, non-judgmental, empathetic care. I strive to ease your feelings of apprehension and offer a safe, comfortable place to discuss your purpose in seeking counseling services. I served in the military for 22 years and have experience working with both military veterans and civilians through some of the most challenging transitions in their lives. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in Minneapolis. My specialty is guiding you through the areas of your life that interfere with living your best life. Since each of us is unique, I draw from a combination of research-based techniques. My job as your therapist is to address the areas in your life where you need help. You don’t have to do it alone.
